​Across my career, I always gravitated to the work that required one to learn something that was not common. It could be a unique skill or unique technology that motivated my efforts to be better. It also meant that in my business career that I worked for companies that did not compete solely on price or availability, but on the unique way we helped a customer be successful.

My professional skills in photography and imagery started near 1988 initially developed in the mission focused environment of US Naval Aviation, where the stakes of screwing up while flying were high so we briefed photography like any other mission aspect of what we would and would not do before we flew. Plus. it was the days of film, so we waited many days to know if we got it right and there were no second chances.

As I have moved forward to the present day even with all the technology now available, it is that same foundation of creating in a planned manner that delivers a correct, aligned with expectations result for a client.
